What do you think makes you a good coach? 
I enjoy coaching kids and sharing my experiences.

What are your key strengths as a coach?
I have played chess since I was a kid and my greatest strength is my experiences playing chess for over two decades.

Why do you love Chess?
I love problem solving and the analytical side of chess. Playing Chess from a young age has trained me to be competent at problem-solving, prioritizing and remaining effective under pressure.

When did you first learn to play?
I first learned to play chess when I was 6 years old. I went to a kids chess camp at school and fell in love with chess.

Why do you enjoy working with kids?

I find chess coaching as a way to give back to the community and Whānau.

How do you think chess helps kids?
I think Chess helps kids be analytical and excel in problem solving that they can apply in day-to-day life.
