The NZ Chess Academy™ is a specialised chess training centre targeted at talented junior chess players rated between 300 and 1800 (usually aged 7-13). We are taking enrollments for 2017 now!
Each programme is a full year and is guaranteed to make significant improvements to your child's understanding of Chess.
Three squads are available for players ranging from 300 through to 1200 rating points. Acceptance into a squad is based on the academy's opinion of an applicant's current ability, attitude and future potential.
Two squads will be at Auckland and one squad will be in Wellington.
STAGE 1 Squad
Tuesdays 5:30 - 7:00pm starting Tue 21 Feb 2017. Suits players from 300 - 900 rating points.STAGE 2 Squad
Wednesdays 5:30 - 7:00pm starting Wed 15 Feb 2017. Suits players from 600 - 1200 rating points.STAGE 3 Squad
Tuesdays 5:30 - 7:00pm starting Tue 14 Feb 2017. Suits players from 900 - 1500 rating points.A maximum of 12 players will be accepted into each squad and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
