The program is suitable for all levels of skill.

Chess Fun will involve:

  • Learn all the rules of Chess including tricky rules your parents haven't even heard of!
  • Learning nice strategies for the opening, middle-game and endgame
  • Learn awesome Chess tactics and solve puzzles to win pieces and checkmate the king!
  • Learn about the greatest Chess players in history and how they played the game
  • Learn fun Chess variants like Zombie Chess, Tower Chess, Fisher-random & Secret Assassin
  • Play in mini-tournaments to practice your new learning

Robotics Fun

RoboClub Fun will involve:

  • Introducing those new to the world of robotics or extend the knowledge of those already familiar with LEGO EV3 Mindstorm robots.
  • Children will learn how the EV3 robot works, the different sensors that can be used and outputs to be connected.
  • New children will learn to programme their robot to move, display pictures and play sounds, even talk using the child's own voice! 
  • Those more able will control their robots to undertake basic challenges or have a go at the awesome Maze Challenge. Collect and move objects using those advanced skills.
