I’m a good coach because I have four years of experience teaching kids as an assistant coach at my local tennis club. I’m kind, considerate, and patient, and I understand that students have different levels of ability and learn at different paces.
Outgoing communicator who builds rapport quickly and gets to know each student.
Caring and attentive listener who ensures everyone is learning and having fun.
Consistent, positive classroom energy that keeps students engaged.
I’ve always preferred games where strategy matters more than luck. Chess is the perfect match for me because success comes from better planning and fewer mistakes, not chance.
I started playing with my mum and friends when I was 5–7 years old, and I often won and found it fun. At 14, I began playing regularly on Chess.com, quickly learning opening principles and basic endgame strategies. Since then, I’ve played a lot and kept improving.
Kids bring energy and enthusiasm that brighten my day. I enjoy making a difference, encouraging confidence, and sparking a passion for chess (and other hobbies or sports) they enjoy.
