Term 2 2011 Interschools Chess Tournament Results - Oamaru Zone

Ardgowan School plays host to our first tournament in Oamaru with no less 38 competitors in 7 teams!

The kids thoroughly enjoyed the day. Brockville School were so excited by the Dunedin Zone event the day before, they travelled all the way to this event and took away first prize!

Vitaliy Burzakov from Brockville School continued his winning form from the Dunedin tournament to take away the 1st individual prize.

Rebecca Kingswell from Ardgowan School took the top girl prize winning an Excellence Award.
