Why do you love chess?

I love chess because it challenges me to think ahead and solve problems. Every game is unique, teaching me something new about strategy, patience, and focus.

When and how did you first learn to play?

I first learned to play chess at school. We had a chess club, and I enjoyed playing casually with friends and classmates.

Why do you enjoy working with kids?

I enjoy working with kids because they bring energy, creativity, and excitement to learning. Seeing kids grow their confidence and skills over time is incredibly rewarding.

What are your main chess achievements?

While I haven't competed in major tournaments, I have:

  • Consistently played chess throughout school

  • Built a strong understanding of the game through regular practice and friendly competition

How do you think chess helps kids?

Chess helps kids develop essential life skills, including:

  • Resilience and perseverance It also boosts their confidence and teaches them how to approach challenges calmly and thoughtfully.
